We(my friend Rahul Vamshi and me) watched this movie a couple of weeks back. It was on a weekend and both of us were not that busy to wail away our time. Infact both of us are totally free on weekends. So we thought of going to a movie and we landed in this movie. Its an animated movie. But I would say it is better than any of the new generation Hindi, Tamil movies. Story is simple, a lion cub escapes from the reserve forest area and it is caught by human beings. Even though the father lion tries to save it it couldn't. The lion becomes a major attraction in New York zoo as it can dance well. (It's an animation movie, dont think about logic).
The young lion with its friends travels to Africa in a plane driven by Penguins. You will love those scenes. It will atleast bring a smile to your face if not you are rolling with laughter. In the reserve the father lion is the king and he is getting old. Even in this movie there is a villain and he is also a lion. The villain wants to become the king. He becomes King (I am not giving the entire details here). At the end how the young lion with the help of his father overcomes the villain is the story. The animation is done pretty good and simple. The dialogues are good.
Initially I was not happy that I am going to a animated movie. But guys I am telling you, please go ahead and watch animated movies it will make you young. Especially movies like this and Ice Age series where you will find yourself laughing. There are few scenes like the fight between the young lion and a old lady and the sentimental scenes between the father lion and the young lion, which will make you feel like you are watching a comercial movie. But even Tom and Jerry is action oriented right.
When you are going to a movie like this dont check for logic you will not understand the movie. Just be sure to enjoy the 1.5 hrs time. We had a nice time, hope everyone who watches this also had.
